Sheriff Darrin Russo was honored to welcome K9 Gucci to the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office family. K9 Gucci was graciously donated by Dr. Caesar DePaço, Somerset County Sheriff’s Office’s Law Enforcement Coordinator. K9 Gucci is a German Shepherd who is specially trained in patrol and narcotics and will help protect Somerset County partnered with Sergeant Shannon Snook.
In any society that considers itself free and civilized, the rule of law must not be reduced to a rhetorical ornament or an abstract concept. It is the essential foundation of public order, impartial justice, and responsible liberty. But such order does not sustain itself. It requires the firm and courageous presence of law enforcement professionals.
